food What was the last spicy meal you cooked?

Made some blackened Halibut, black beans and salad for dinner last night.

I cooked chicken over a open fire and just doused the birds in a garlic habenero sauce with a habenero lime spice mix. It was surprisingly good considering I wasn't trying very hard. :)
 
Plate lunch.
 
Chicken Fried Steak.
 
Jalapeno cream gravy.
 
Mac salad.
 
Roasted corn with 'Kangs Hawaiian bacon bbq sauce.
 
Rock some cast iron.
 
Double breaded.
 
Fitty/Fitty veg oil and butter.

Drain off most of the fatness.
 
But leave a little in the CI.
 
Throw down some chopped jalapa.

Toss in some butter.
 
And splooge some heavy cream.
 
And reduce.
 
Reduce.
 
REDUCE!
 
Until you have the bare essence.

Now plate it up.
 
Sauce it.
 
Mac salad it.
 
Corn hole it.

This ain't no health kick dish.
 
Its neanderthal date night food.
 
It'll make you crawl.
 
On your belly like a reptile.
 
And your gal.
 
Will do very adult 'thangs to you.
 
That are illegal in 147 countries.

Put the kids to bed early.
 
Lock the doors.
 
And pull down the shades.

Chicken fried steak.
 
Does that sometimes.
 
2-3lbs of some fatty grass fed ground beef. Browned and most the fat drained off
2 links of spicy Polish hunter sausage
1 huge mild Anaheim
A  bunch of onion flakes since my ass forgot onion the other day at the market.
A large can of Brooks chili beans cause my ass is also lazy today.
Panca powder, onion powder, ground cumin and a lot of paprika
A couple dried aji arnaucho ground up
About a cup of Jacks Cantina salsa
Just enough beef stock to almost cover it all.
 
1.5 cups of quinoa
2 cups water
1 cup chicken bone broth
1 pack HerbOx chicken bullion
1 tbs onion flakes
1 tsp granulated garlic
About a 1/4 tsp turmeric...i eyeballed
 
Ready in another 15min or so :D
 
Never cooked it before.
 
Bring to boil and cover
Reduce heat to low simmer for 15min
Kill heat and let rest for another 5-10min
 
Stupid easy and taste pretty good. Great nutrition profile. A big bag was about $10 at Costco.

I eat quinoa often.
 
But don't post about it much.
