Cool just got my room and inside setup going now.
Planted a few more seeds last night into rockwool cubes for the hothouse systems that will be built next. I couldn't find the lid so have improvised with a large sandwich bag. this is probably as inventive/creative as I will get !

What's with the fused stem? Did you graft 2 plants together or have you just intertwined them? Looks interesting.
There is actually about 4/5 plants in that pot, at a very very young age like about 1 week old, i twisted them all together kinda like someone would braid someone's hair...
The idea is that as the plant grows bigger and bigger the stems which are all touching each other will 'fuse' together and create a knarly looking trunk.
Also going to be doing something like this will different types of plants as well. Such as trinidad scorpian and red rocotto or something like that.
Would love to be able to have a plant that produces trinidad scorps and rocottos...Should be fun

Anyone knows if it is possible to have a Chocolate Habanero and a Yellow Habanero growing in the same plant? The same way people do with lemons and oranges.

It was Shadowchilli doing the fused stem thingy.
I have always wanted to try grafting two types together (like they do with the fruit trees) but have never gotten around to it. I believe that it could be successful.
Gotta keep those roots warm Joey, i would say nothing over say 28
celcius though. Don't wanna cook them!
yeah no point having your seedlings on a heat mat and it is 28 degrees then you water them with 12 degree water. That would give me a shock too!
Edit: Also rainwater is best to use. So you could collect some and then keep an aquarium heater in it or if you were to grow under lights then that should keep the container of water warm enough also. Otherwise if you have to warm water from the tap or you could put some of your rainwater into a kettle and boil then mix with the colder water?
