Joey, i want you to pick from that list. Say a maximum of six diferent ones. Only then can i make you happy
Another one for Team Queensland!Well, I'm a bit late with my post here. But count me in. I've started some Barrackpore, Bhut Jolokia, and Jonas in Coir. Never used coir before so it will be interesting to see if its as good as the Jiffy stuff.
I am also experimenting with a fused stem, bad photo but you can kinda see it
What's with the fused stem? Did you graft 2 plants together or have you just intertwined them? Looks interesting.
Cool sounds great. It reminds me of those bamboo plants that they "braid". Not sure how it will work with such big plants but if it worksout will be very cool. There is actually about 4/5 plants in that pot, at a very very young age like about 1 week old, i twisted them all together kinda like someone would braid someone's hair...
The idea is that as the plant grows bigger and bigger the stems which are all touching each other will 'fuse' together and create a knarly looking trunk.
Also going to be doing something like this will different types of plants as well. Such as trinidad scorpian and red rocotto or something like that.
Would love to be able to have a plant that produces trinidad scorps and rocottos...Should be fun
Edit: Where this all started My link
Candice That room is amazing.
Thats ok, cheating is allowed and may well be the only way to accomplish the task at hand lol. I know im going to be watering with only luke warm water!
hey Wildfire,
that fused stem experience of yours is very interesting. Keep us posted on that.
I think I'm gonna try it out next year!
Anyone knows if it is possible to have a Chocolate Habanero and a Yellow Habanero growing in the same plant? The same way people do with lemons and oranges.
Bleash
Gotta keep those roots warm Joey, i would say nothing over say 28Luke warm water, I wondered if that would be a good idea, now I know it is ha ha cool.
yeah no point having your seedlings on a heat mat and it is 28 degrees then you water them with 12 degree water. That would give me a shock too!Gotta keep those roots warm Joey, i would say nothing over say 28
celcius though. Don't wanna cook them!
