Had to make a few changes to the grow room cos the stupid silver tape wouldn't stick properly and all the walls were falling down. So have gone with white wood instead. At least now it is a bit neater with the power cords and plugs off the floor. Still gotta seal up some of the gaps.
The plants seem to be going well so far.

I don't know much about plugs but if you have to buy a new one try cash converters or the paper. There are always people being busted or giving up growing and you can pick stuff up quite cheap.

Great to see everybody is coming along nicely with their projects.

Can't wait to see the jungle that Candice will have with that Bad Ass setup!!
Lets see if Nova can get his SupaNova thingy happening and we might see lots more.

Well finally got around to take a piccy or 2.

Germbox

And the little green aliens that came out of there

Now i'm just starting to get ready for round 2, then 3, then.................. there a long way to gooooooooooo till Spring!!!!!

Happy Chilli Growing,
Micca

Yeah I planted the Bhut Jolokia Chocolate x 7pot/pod Yellow f4 and Trinidad Scorpion Huge last night, put them in a similar propagator too.

Bloody Queensland! See the size difference NSW looked like little ants crawling over them!
I think the coir i used to start some Rocoto seeds is holding too much moisture, other seeds i started in a coir x seed raising mix are doing much better so i will be using that from now on. Also found my 600 watt reflector hood and ballast for my hps, setting that up in a grow cupboard. Just have to buy a new globe for the sucker.

So it looks like the Coir wasn’t much good hey Nova? Hope the Coir/Soil mix goes well for ya.

Micca

Nah not much chop for my germ station i dont think. Have to get some more coir and seed raising mix on the weekend.

Sure.
I'll post a piccy sometime of what I am using in the Germbox.
For some reason when I used Jiffy Pellets I found they also stayed too wet for me. Seeing that lots of people have had great success with them I think I might have another go and see.

Micca

Both work but I found the germination better with coir/jiffy pellets, rather than rockwool. The best is in a flat tray with coco and then just mist everday. If you find the jiffy pellets too wet just squeeze them out a little. If you have them on a heat mat with no lid once germinated they dry out better. Having said that I have planted the last lot in rockwool only cos they are going straight into the hydro system and I think that is a better product to use in there. I guess it just depends on how you like to water and how much attention you give it.
