Ill add 1 naga per...

    help very bumpy leaves!!

i was always under the impression that bumpy leaves like this were a result of too many nutes. the green "flesh" of the leaves were growing faster than the stem / vein of the leaf - resulting in a bumpy texture

    seeds problems germinating fatali/orange hab

g'day Slick thx for the update - least you've got SOME chillis started. This is my 2nd year growing from seed and i learnt some stuff from last year: -Seeds dont need light, just heat and water. So keep the planted seeds inside in a warm spot (ontop of the fridge for me) -seeds dont need much...

    overwintering Overwintering/Starting Next Season

at the end of my last season i repotted my chilli plants - choped the plant back to a simple twig, cut the root ball back ALOT and repotted them into small containers and left them in the garage (had a small window with a tiny bit of light). 3 months later all but one survived the winter. i...

pretty sure they are whats commonly refered to as "Fungus gnats". do a google search on em General consensus is they are a problem for small and developing plants. large established plants people tend not to worry "Indoor gnats, which are also known as fungus gnats, are not only annoying...

    overwintering soil, overwinter, and mites

Hi All I had a horror season last year and i couldnt nail down the problem before winter hit but i think it was due to mite damage. Ive potted down and overwintered my plants and they are looking good - cut back the roots, all the leaves and the stem to the 1st major node. Ive also kept most...

    Fade's Grow Log 2010

hey fade 2 weeks ago i flushed my plots and was really vigilant with watering. basically havent watered at all since - just a folair spray now and then in the morning. I kept the pots on an angle for a day and used a wick to improve drainage.... and my effected plants are starting to come back...

Uuugh now what is this. Something else munching on my plants. Mites?

Nah. More holes won't help. Just try 1. Don't let the pot sit in water - ie: a full saucer 2. Tip it sideways to drain. 3. Use a wick if needed to suck out excess 4. Only water when needed.

Uuugh now what is this. Something else munching on my plants. Mites?

I think a few forum members here are having the same issue, but no1 has solved it yet. Do a forum search and checkout threads by fade_to_black and myself and gasfid... Also check out my drainage thread. I think this may be the cause.

    Fade's Grow Log 2010

Mate, I feel for ya. I do. I'm still having the same issue and now it's on 5 of my 7 plants - really disheartening. After a bit of reading and asking around I'm thinking it's not mite / pest related at all. I think the problem has to do with overwatering and lack or air to the roots. There's...
