I agree with everything you just said except "Don't do it".
This bloke has obviously done the research and believes that he can handle the pain.
I whole heartedly think that he should do it, i mean why the hell not? (apart from the obvious side effects).

I find it hard to understand though how my wanting this guy to video the experience horrifies him yet he is going to do this.

$105 really is not a lot of cash, i bet if you advertised your skills and got an audience you could make a bucket load more, $20 a head, you would HAVE to get at least 20-30 peeps watching, thats still not a lot of money.
