Like butter, it is...and no, don't argue the ice...it's 90F+ today...if a few cubes melt, ya doing it wrong. And, this year's is known to be much better than that of the 1990's...

Not as hard as a Glenfiddich...more honey sweet nose and beginning, mid-range peaty, then the alcohol hits...smoothly...a good finish. No real aftertaste. Not that astringent either.

Could be more peaty IMO, but I'm being a fickle one who loves the Peat.

Better than the last $10 shot of Glenfiddich I had at a bar...

I'll bet Bonnie's to Bollock's that Lally chimes in...

Quad I for one am quite impressed. I did not take you for a scotch drinker much less a connoisseur! Very nice.

So, yes, I like Scotch. :D

Here's a fun bit..

I took it down the hall to a Finnish neighbor who appreciates a good drop, so we had a couple glasses. Then, another neighbor drops by and it turns out he'd never had anything other than bar scotch before (eek) , so he didn't like it...hehe...

He likes it now. ;)

EDIT: Wow, we're almost at 100 pages! that's alot of drinking. Bet cap lover never thought his little post would turn into something so popular. RIP little guy. I actually went back and read the first page, this thread has really turned into something completely different yet kinda in the same light as what was originally intended.

I feel the same about Xingu. Good concept, average execution.

Cracked a homebrew hard cider i chilled a week ago. Tasted the same. Good, but could be better. It's 3 weeks in bottle as of this sunday. I shall chill another on that day and taste. I bet it'll taste loads better. :)

I was at my brother's today and he had a Michelob variety pack which I first turned my nose up at, but then I had the Honey Wheat and the Hop-whatever and they weren't too bad. Then he broke out the Delirium Tremens and all was GOOD!
