Good morning everyone. It's going to be a good weather week for gardening, with rain predicted for a couple of those days. We're going to an iris swap next weekend so I've got to get digging! I have some Siberians that haven't be divided in a decade or so. It'll take a backhoe to get them out! Have a great weekend and drive safely.
Good morning everyone. Today should be a beautiful day like Wiri's, only we have clouds right now. We made lots of pickled beets yesterday and harvested broccoli and squash to share this AM. I love this coolness and harvesting from all the previous months of hard work. I hope your days are filled with laughter. Be safe.

My helper for today apparently walked off a job site on Saturday. So today I get a new guy that speaks Zero English and my Spanish is limited to the Taco Bell menu. Going to be a little longer than usual today. Already thinking about a beer and my chair. Good morning friends and have a great day. Got to go pick some peppers first thing this morning.
Good morning everyone. Wiri - this truly has been a very different summer/year. Nothing predictable and my gardens show it. I have only seen 1 ripe tomato this year, with only a few greenies left on the plants. Not a good year for the nightshade family at all. I'm hoping to fertilize the nightshades this AM, but it looks like rain. At least we finally have green lawns!
