Potawie's Pepper Progress 2008

My secret is to grow lots of plants but only photograph the nice ones.;) I've had my share of problems this year, most of them aphid related.

I don't heat my greenhouse till spring and then I use an in-efficient wood stove and propane heaters but also section it off with tarps so I only have to heat one end in the early spring.

I could never figure out "pompitous of love":lol:

What is a pompitous of love? Here's one definition:

..."pompitous' from the Latin "pompa" procession, an ostentatious display; love, from the Latin "lubEre" meaning to please;
eg. "pompitous of love" a vain statement of one's sexual prowess, usu. given in an euphoric hazy cloud of blue smoke
(slang) a good roll in the sack...

I usually pick off early flowers and pods from my C. annuums but this one was supposed to be a C. chinense and was obviously not so I decided to grow it out and see if it was mislabelled by me, or maybe a hybrid, or maybe mislabelled by my seed source. If it turns out to be a fresno then it was mislabelled by me but I'm still unsure.

I really like Fresnos, they are usually a little hotter than a jalapeno and a bit different flavor, probably more fruiy. They have also been great producers for me in the past:)

I like your 100litre home made pot in the background POTAWIE. Looks like a chopped in half olive barrel. Talking about that, I saw a dope bust on TV the other night & the grower was using those old style plastic garbage bins for pots.
