food What was the last spicy meal you cooked?

Just had a Famous Passow Pizza with Fatalii peppers under the cheese and Zest Blend on top of it. LIGHT. ME. UP!

Currently cooking Defcon ZERO Pumpkin Pie.

CH...those ribs and salsa look magnifique!

IGG and Quad...pizza is like sex. When it's good it's great. When it's bad...it's still pretty good!

Cheers ya'll, TB.

ok canned chicken & now chicken rings??

im afraid to ask what part of the chicken that comes from lol
Must be the o-ring!

Hahaha, wasn't me with canned chicken, that's just nasty.

Think cheerio shaped chicken nuggets.

Why?

I have no idea. But was $7 for 3lbs. You do the math. ;)

I made Defcon chicken wontons -- I bought the Perdue pre cooked chicken chopped fine put in sauce pan with defcon 2 (wifey was eating too) to warm. Layed out wontons 1tsp chicken mix and a squirt of Bleu cheese on top ( I poured Blue cheese dressing in a sandwich bag and cut the corner out to squueze it neatly ) wet the edges with water and sealed. Fry for about 5-10 seconds on each side -- These were bangin' seemed like a lot of work but not bad -- no sauce on fingers before going out...
Sorry no pics

I made some spicy venison steaks (deer meat) tuesday after butchering it with a couple friends:
dry rub: rub both sides, allow to sit for 15mins.
powdered cayenne
powdered habanero (orange)
crushed red pepper
onion powder
garlic powder
meat tenderizer
lemon zest
white pepper
sea salt
cooking:
pre heated cast iron
1/2 red onion, rough chop
3 cloves garlic
1tblsp butter
saute garlic and onion for 5 mins
add venison steaks, 5 mins. per side
it was cut-with-a-fork tender and oh so tasty....

That sounds great! I will refer to this the next time I make deer steaks. I am almost out of them. Good thing deer season is coming soon.

Tonight I made Jambalya with hot smoked sausage, chicken pieces, shrimp, onion, celery, thai peppers, jalapenos, cayennes, and a red hab. YUMMMMM!

I just ate 2 poached eggs, 1 large chopped orange hab, & some chipotle cheddar cheese on 2 whole wheat Eggo waffles. Tasty stuff indeed.

mushroom tortellini with a whole bhut (from my freezer stash) followed rather rapidly by an almond Magnum :mouthonfire:

I really don't know how anyone can eat a whole bhut by itself...

Cheers, TB.

This thread is torture when you are living in a damn hotel room with not even a microwave! :violin:

Also, I say again: Sticky this thread! haha It's a great thread..I guess it does manage to stay at the top all on it's own regardless of sticky-status.

XG - good to see ya visiting more, & congrats on your grad. but curious as to why you're in an hotel room vs the base ?

I also agree theres many pictures shown of food on this thread that look so tasty.

Thanks. I'm staying in a "Navy Lodge" actually, it turns out I got tricked..this is just a hotel that either has a contract with the base or is very crafty and knows the ins and outs of military personnel coming in and out of the area. The real Navy Lodge is down the street and is about $20 cheaper! On base is the BOQ which I intend to check out tomorrow, that should be even less, though it won't be as nice not having places that sell food and beer right next door that are open late.

Should only be here for a little bit anyway, so no point in getting too settled in.

true, but ya make do with what ya got - case in point your sink cooler w/beer & hot sauce :) saw that picture you posted on this forum, at least you have your priorities straight & with that combo most foods should be good even w/o a microwave or stove
