That is cool. I wonder what it says about the way I think when I can fathom the smallest stuff easier than the largest. Jamie

    event Buffalo Wild Wings Challange

If I remember correctly you have to pay for the wings here, too. I think the only "prize" you get, is if you eat them, you're allowed to buy a specific t shirt. I've eaten them before, and sometimes after a while they're hot, sometimes they're not. After the first few times...

    Need volunteers

Of the 10 I was given seeds for, I only ended up with 7 varieties that made it. Two of them had real low germination rates (1 and 0) and the 1 didn't make it. Another one only had 2 germinate, and it grew well, but took forever before it produced any peppers. Then frost hit before they...

seeds Rotten/dead seeds in the pod?

I didn't see any bug holes. I checked under the cap of the few I had nearby, and didn't see any (unless they are really small). I'll check again later on when I harvest more. Any suggestions on dealing with this? Almost all my savina's and part of my scorps are affected by this. Jamie

seeds Rotten/dead seeds in the pod?

Greetings all! While cutting up peppers tonight, I encountered what appears to be dead or rotten seeds within the pod. Here is a picture with two different pods showing it. I had a bunch of savina last year that did the same thing. I've seen this on several different peppers this year...

    Polarbearforge 2011 grow log

So after the whipping winds, we had cold weather, followed by record highs. Everything seems to have pulled through. This is a picture of the gardens. Each of the three square plots have 25 pepper plants. The fourth square is filled with dye plants(weld, woad, lady's bedstraw) and will be...

    Polarbearforge 2011 grow log

So due to schedule and weather delays, I finally got about half of the plants in this weekend. It's been nice and calm (well, calm for us) the past few days. So last night the wind comes up. It's been 25-30 mph winds since then. My poor plants are getting whipped about, even though they are...

    Polarbearforge 2011 grow log

So my beans, I mean my peppers have been growing rather well These are the smallest ones. They were usually the ones I found shaded from the other taller plants. These are part of the ones I'm keeping for myself. I'll be trimming them down a bit or they won't survive the wind we get here...

Sounds like Exavier has similar hobbies to mine. I also forge blades, nothing like using a 2000+ degree fire! :onfire: Folding steel (making damascus or pattern welded material) is an addiction all it's own. Jamie
