food What was the last spicy meal you cooked?

Cheese Omlette Brekky Sammie

Pretty simple, but yummo brekky.

I took two eggs, diced cooked chicken, mushroom, onion, cayenne, dash of curry powder,S&P, and sweet-hot peppers and made an "Omlette". (I did the steam fry method..it's makes wonderful melty cheese)

The French Hamburger Buns; one side has a bit of mayo and slice of pepperjack, other has Buffalo Chipotle & Scorpion's Blood Sauces.

Gave the veggies and chicken a quick sauté in a pat of butter, than added my eggs.

When the bottom of the "omlette" wa done and it was firmed up, added cheddar to the top of the omlette, put the lid on, and turned the burner off letting it steam itself.

Gave the buns about 15 seconds in the micro, placed the one without cheese face down on the cheezy egg adn cut a circle around it with my spatula. Topped with the other bun, and Voila!

OH SNAP! That's looks fantastic Quad and I just finished dinner! I think the only thing I'd add is to toast the inside of the buns in the butter/oil ala grilled cheese style then put the fixin's on it!

Oh and maybe add a pinch of garlic because as I've found, if you eat garlic for breakfast, people will pretty much leave you alone all day ;)

Thx!

I did add some garlic to the veggie/chicken mix, just spaced the mention of it. I was gonna toast the buns as well, but the rest cooked so fast I didn't really wanna mess with it..i was hungry. ;)

GREAT PIC QUAD!!!!!!!!

Looks good! I'm not much for eggs, but I would eat that!!

Redeyeguy, careful with those habs!!!
Redeye and Ratman, Hope to see you in the next throwdown! You have some good ideas, you will be formidable opponents.

Yeah, I`m an idiot lol - I even left the placenta and seeds in for extra heat!

Atta way...we be 'a learning ya good. ;)

Me, I tend to take seeds out as getting one stuck in my #%$#@ teeth really hurts. Besides, the placenta has the heat anyways.

Seeds should just be planted, eh?

spicy sweet & sour beef w/ cabbage

I've been hankerin' for some of this for awhile. :-D

Marinated some thinly sliced top round sprinkled with kosher salt and cane sugar in Sambal Olek, rice vinegar, balsamic vinegar, Mae Ploy, granulated garlic, Scorpion's Blood, and soy sauce overnight.

Tonight, chopped up some cabbage, sweet onion, crushed some garlic and ginger, and slivered a very pretty Caribbean Red Hab.

The Meat, 1/3 of the onions/garlic/ginger and 2/3 of the CR Hab went in the C.I. along with a shot of May Ploy, 1 tsp of soy sauce and some more Sambal Olek.

Meanwhile, I got some oil hot in my big Circulon pan and chucked the rest in along with lots of red pepper, cayenne, sea salt & pepper, a pinch of 5-spice, and a spot of May Ploy to get all delishifried©.

All done! Plated up with some leftover jasmine rice, and KAPOW!

Thx man!

Heh, same cam, less booze. ;)

Everything came out great..cabbage is tender yet a touch of crunch as it should be, the beef is tender, tangy sweet and frellin' HOT.

It works pretty damn well IMO.

Currently having a nice cold beer with it though. :D

Made some lasagna the other night for last night's dinner using some homemade pasta sauce. It was lactose free and lactard friendly for my wife-to-be and had some eggplant and junk. It was good, but had no heat.

So for today's lunch of leftovers i blasted it with some fatalii powder and some naga powder i whipped up last night. My mouth has been burning for 20 straight minutes and i see yet more in my dish.

I gave a broad in my office some fatalii powder on her pizza and she said that was plenty hot enough and didn't want to try the naga powder.

I need to get going on my bhut jolokia sauce. Maybe this week, eh?

I didn't get that one either! LOL

LOL! It's a reference to the T.V. show "Just Shoot Me" where Jack wants Elliot to do some tasteful shots of him the boudoir, but because he's so nervous he snaps at Elliot for suggesting he open his robe just a little bit. He said something to the effect of "I know how you slick photographers work, first it's open your robe just a little bit, then you suggest I take it off, next thing you know I'm soaping up a corvette in my birthday suit!"

The starting point in this reference was TB suggesting Quad have a few drinks and telling him that it's no fun without a few... Kind of a long way around to make reference to a little known TV show that aired in the late 90s I guess.

Okay, here's the deal. Most of what I cook is Spicy, I just forget to take pictures  so I don't share.

Well, tonight I remembered to take a picture...I am currently smoking some Italian Sausage specially made for me with 3 different hot Pepper powders in the mix. My butcher makes them up for me in 10 lb batches and laughs every time I place an order. But they are so good!

This is also the first time I have tried smoking anything on my gas grill. The other day while at Lowe's I saw a wood chip tray made for the gas grill and just had to pick it up along with some hickory chips. Mmmm...the smoke smells so good!

So, here is the shot: (sorry for the quality, my cheap camera didn't know what to focus on)
